Water Deficits

We are four students from the Catherine Cook School who will be attending the GIN conference.

Our group chose this project because we thought it was interesting how we have all heard of people internationally who lack water, but we use up a lot of water and don’t think of the consequences. Even though it may seem the U.S. has an abundance of water, that amount is slowly diminishing as we keep using more water.
First we saw the need for water in other countries, then we decided to focus more local on the U.S. and our city, Chicago. We hope that this message can reach worldwide and get others involved to solve the problem.

“Water is the driving force in nature.”- Leonardo Da Vinci

“It is life, I think, to watch the water. A man can learn so many things.” -Nicholas Sparks

“We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.”  -Thomas Fuller
